Hockey is coming back to Hamilton. Beginning in Fall 2026 TD Coliseum will become home to a new American Hockey League (AHL) team, affiliate of the New York Islanders, bringing fast-paced, high-level professional hockey back to the city.
This is your chance to be part of the inaugural season from day one. Deposits open on Monday, April 6 at 10am ET.

Is the AHL coming to Hamilton?
The New York Islanders, together with Oak View Group (OVG), are relocating the franchise’s American Hockey League affiliate to Hamilton, Ontario, for the start of the 2026-27 season.

The Hamilton AHL team will play at TD Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario.
When does the first season start for the Hamilton AHL team?
The Hamilton AHL season will start in fall of 2026. The season schedule will be released in summer 2026.
How do I get Hamilton AHL tickets?
Deposits for memberships and season tickets will open on Monday, April 6 at 10am ET. Other packages and single-game tickets will be released after the schedule is announced in summer 2026.
